Mutus Tech is proud to have been selected as one of five UK agri-tech companies to take part in the UK-India Agri-Tech Accelerator Programme – a knowledge exchange initiative aimed at fostering collaboration between British and Indian innovators in agricultural technology.

As part of the programme, our team visited Delhi, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru from 17th to 21st March 2025, engaging with leading agricultural research institutions, technology hubs, and agri-tech start-ups. The visit offered valuable insights into the priorities and challenges of India’s dynamic agricultural sector, as well as opportunities to explore future partnerships for sustainable, climate-resilient farming.

At Mutus Tech, we specialise in AI-powered data analytics for precision agriculture, with a focus on pest identification, management strategies, and fertiliser optimisation. By combining artificial intelligence, IoT, and big data, our solutions aim to help farmers make informed, data-driven decisions, reduce input waste, and improve crop health and productivity. Our flagship mobile tool, Pezego, integrates real-time pest detection with climate-smart recommendations tailored to local conditions.

The Accelerator Programme, supported by the UK Government in collaboration with Indian institutions, is designed to promote late-stage R&D, investment, and market access. It supports UK agri-tech businesses in understanding the Indian market and encourages the development of practical, scalable solutions to address key agricultural challenges.

During the visit, our team took part in site visits, networking events, and knowledge-sharing sessions with counterparts in India, including discussions on pest management, crop health monitoring, and the role of digital technologies in improving agricultural outcomes. We were particularly encouraged by the enthusiasm for innovation and the potential for meaningful collaboration across both public and private sectors.

Dr Qing Xue, Director of Product Management at Mutus Tech, commented:
“This programme has been a valuable experience for our team, not only in gaining a deeper understanding of India’s agricultural needs but also in identifying areas where our AI-driven tools can be adapted to support farmers in different environments. We look forward to developing partnerships that help address real-world challenges in a sustainable and scalable way.”

As we continue to refine and expand our technologies, Mutus Tech remains committed to supporting global efforts in promoting sustainable, resilient, and productive agriculture through innovation and collaboration.
